• ZOOM is a company whose mission is to complement every photographer's art with premium quality hand-painted backdrops created by yours truly. 

• Our backdrops are available worldwide! The only way we wouldn't reach you is if you placed your order from the Moon! 

• A graduated artist paints our backdrops! Our painter, Bojana, has years of experience when it comes to making your backdrops as good as they come!

All of our backdrops are painted with a matte finish, eliminating unnecessary shine and making them optimal for light manipulation.

• After years of experimenting with our production formula, we succeeded in making our backdrops the most flexible on the market. We do this by applying a special flexibility catalyst in our premium paint mixture. By the time they're dry, ZOOM backdrops can withstand a variety of movements and twists without getting damaged – most of which would surprise you!

• Premium cotton canvas, produced, curated, and imported from Calabria, Italy. The density of the canvas is 450 grams per square meter, more than any other you'll come across, ensuring the quality you deserve. You may think this would make our backdrops heavier than usual. Still, we compensate the above-average weight of the canvas with a below-average weight our premium paint mixture adds after production. 

• The turnaround time consists of 2 components – the time it takes for us to ship the backdrop and the time it takes for it to arrive at your doorstep.  
• If you buy a backdrop from our stock, we can pack it and ship it in up to 2 days. If you order a custom backdrop, it will take us up to 5 days to paint it, dry it, pack it, and ship it.  
• The second part of the turnaround time depends on where you are based – but, wherever you are, the shipping shouldn't take more than seven days, less in most cases. 

With pleasure! Throughout 2020. Most of our orders were custom backdrops since photographers had unique requests, specializing in fulfilling them.

• Here are all the steps: 

1) Send us your inspiration 

If you have an inspiration or a backdrop you would like us to recreate, send us a picture! You can send it via email or Instagram. 

2) Get confirmation 

After we get the photo, we review it with our painter, confirming we can paint it. 

3) Provide payment info 

After that, we send you an invoice via PayPal, and after the payment is complete, we start to paint! 

4) Shipping and receiving 

During the painting process, we deliver regular updates and photos after the painting is done. When you see the backdrop and you're satisfied, we pack the backdrop and ship it, after which the turnaround time varies between 3 and 7 days, depending on where you're based.  

• If you're looking to better visualize your inspiration with a picture, you can turn to backdrop pictures from us or any other backdrop firm - we'll make sure to paint it exactly like the photo you submit.

• It will! The picture of your inspiration helps us precisely visualize what you want us to achieve – once we have that, it's just a matter of when you'll have your dream backdrop! 

• Absolutely! Just get in touch with us via email or social media, and we'll talk about the custom size that would suit your work the best!

• You can securely pay for your backdrops with PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Amex.  

• Yes, and you will receive an invoice with your backdrop! You can get the invoice via email, too; just make sure to tell us.

• Of course! All of our backdrops are shipped and sent with an invoice for your purchase.

• They are! Wherever you're based, you will be able to have a backdrop from your dreams, painted by yours truly. 

• Our backdrops are packed on a cardboard roll (specifically produced and tailored for our purposes and will be reusable and durable) and shipped in a hardened PVC tube, built to sustain all challenges it comes across during shipping. The tube is closed with rubber caps on both sides, creating a vacuum and ensuring the safety of your backdrops.

• All of our backdrops are shipped in a hardened PVC tube, with rubber caps closing it on each side, which is also a perfect package for the safe storage of your valuable backdrops. If you perhaps want to keep them outside the storage tube, you can just keep them rolled on the cardboard roll we provide.

• Our backdrops are fully washable! If your backdrop gets dirty during the shoot, you can quickly clean it without worrying about the paint getting damaged. Prepare yourself a clean piece of cloth, some soap water (or any cleaning liquid that's soap or alcohol-based), and apply it either directly on the backdrop or on the cloth you're using. Then use your cloth to remove the stain from the backdrop. Rub the stain gently at first, and then apply more pressure if needed. When the stain is gone, take a blowdryer and dry the cleaned spot from wetness, which shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Voilà!

• Yes! Just like dirty stains, creases are regular when using backdrops. Even tho our backdrops are made to be as flexible as possible, certain extreme movements can create creases that you will want to eliminate. To do this, you will need a thick piece of cloth and an iron! Take your cloth, put it over the crease, spray some water over it and iron the cloth that's above the creased surface. Check if the crease is gone – if not, just repeat the process a few times until done

• Absolutely! Many photographers use our backdrops on locations, and they love it! The backdrops themselves aren't too heavy – XSmall and Small are the favorites to be used outdoors, weighing just 2kg and 4kg.

• Our backdrops can withstand a little bit of rain! Just make sure to get away from a full-blown storm, for all the equipment's sake!
